Dr. Brian Peters
Dr. Brian Peters is Chief Veterinarian of Lake Hamilton & Hot Springs Animal Hospitals.
Dr. Brian Peters grew up in Sherwood, Arkansas, and has loved animals since he was a child. He made the decision to become a veterinarian after working as a kennel assistant in high school. He is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Brian Peters purchased Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospitals in 2008 from Dr. Adney after serving as an associate since 2001. He and his wife, Melissa, have two daughters, Kaitlynn and Lillian and a son, Mason.
Dr Brian Peters is very active in the community and is a member of several local organizations.
Dr. Stacy Brown
Dr. Stacy Brown grew up in Stephens, Arkansas and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian since the age of 13. She earned a degree in Agricultural Business from Southern Arkansas University and attended Texas A & M University where she worked on a Master’s Degree in Animal Science. She finally obtained her dream of becoming a veterinarian when she graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.
After graduation from veterinary school Dr. Brown completed an internship at Weatherford Equine Medical Center in Weatherford, Texas. Dr. Brown joined Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospitals in May 2006 as an associate veterinarian.
In her free time, Dr. Brown loves spending time with her family. She has 3 dogs: Hank, (a Cocker Spaniel), Happy, (a Lab), and Rusty, (an Australian Shepard).

Melissa joined Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospital in 1998 as our Practice Manager. Melissa graduated from Henderson State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Aviation Management. Melissa did not realize she had a passion for animals until she started at both hospitals. She loves the challenge each day brings from the staff to the patients. She loves to “love” on the patients, but especially the puppies and exotics. When Melissa is not managing the practices, she loves to spend time with her two daughters and her husband boating, camping and being outdoors.
Brett started at Lake Hamilton Animal Hospital while he was in college and volunteered for two years while he completed his Bachelors of Science from the University of Monticello. Brett has a degree in Agriculture in Animal Science. He has been with Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospitals full time since 1999. Brett is our Senior Veterinary Assistant and is also in charge of hospital purchasing. Brett has three children with his wife Darona, Alexander, Abigail, and Aiden. He enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities. He has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Pictured with Brett is “Oliver” a Bambino Sphynx.
Kalley Cline, RVT
Kalley grew up in Kansas where she graduated from Colby Community college in 2009 with a Veterinary Technician degree. After graduation she spent 4 years working for an equine veterinary on the racetrack with Thoroughbred racehorses. Kalley has been with Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospital since 2013. Kalley is our Head Certified Veterinary Technician and Inventory Control at Hot Springs Animal Hospital. Kalley and her husband Justin have two girls Laney and Ada Grace. When Kalley is not taking care of fur babies at work, she enjoys riding her horses and spending time with her family at home.
Charlie started at Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospitals in 2002 when she was in high school. Charlies has been promoted multiple times over the years and is now a Veterinary Assistant and our Kennel Manager. Charlie loves the connection she makes with clients and their pets along with never knowing what is going to walk through the front door. Charlie has 2 boys, Ashton and Parker, a Labrador “Buddy” and 2 rats.
Leslie has been working in the Veterinary field for 26 years. Leslie graduated from Ashworth College as a Certified Animal Care Specialist. She has been a Hill’s Science Diet Nutritional Advocate since 2000 and became a NACV Certified Pet Nutrition Coach in 2019. She also holds a Division Evidence Law Certificate. (She is our resident CSI). Leslie has been with Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospitals for 8 years as a Veterinary Assistant. Lake Hamilton Animal Hospital has been her favorite place to work because she is known as “The Cat Lady” and “Chihuahua Whisperer”. Leslie has 2 boys, Garrett and Hunter. Leslie loves to spend time on the lake when she is not at work.
Holly has been with Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospitals 2012. She is our Clinic Supervisor and a Receptionist. Holly has her Associate of Science and has 14 years of experience in the Veterinary Field. She has a 9-year-old pit bull/lab mix named Lyric. In her free-time, she enjoys taking Lyric to do anything outdoors and spending time on the water.
Laura has been at Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospitals since 2014. Laura is a Receptionist and a Graphic Designer. Laura is likely the first face you will see when you walk through the doors at Lake Hamilton Animal Hospital. Laura has several years of customer service experience and will gladly help you with anything you need. Laura attended Arkansas Tech for Fine Art and Graphic Design and designs everything from our clinic t-shirts to our brochures and billboards. Laura has 3 fur babies, her 2 cats Rudy and Moos, and a dog named Toby.
Kimi has seven years of grooming experience and has been a member of Lake Hamilton and Hot Springs Animal Hospitals since 2015. Kimi specialized in creative grooming and custom bows for your fur babies. Grooming for our hospitals is Kimi’s dream job. Kimi’s clients are more than clients to her, they are family. Kimi takes pride in her ability to work efficiently to insure every pet’s needs. When Kimi is not grooming, she is spending time with her husband, three daughters, two sons, and two yellow Labradors.
